Shri Rani Sati Satsang Samiti (SRSSS) Jugsalai with its team of 40 members visited Shri Rani Sati Devi shrine at Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan on the auspicious occasion of Bhado Amavasya. More than one lakh teeming devotees from the country and foreign shores turned up to have a glimpse of the presiding deity and offer prayers. The richly decorated Shri Rani sati Dadi looked resplendent on the occasion.
Bhajan singer Baijnath Sharma opened the devotional songs’ proceedings with Ganesh Vandana and other lilting melodious songs to further boost the aura of devotion. His performance was followed by Sunita Bharadwaj and Govind Bharadwaj singing their way into the hearts of the milling devotees. The Bhajans enraptured and enthralled the audience. The programme went on till night.
SRSSS president Anil Kumar Ringasia said that members had been visiting the Shri Rani Sati Dadi Temple on the occasion of Bhado Amavasya since the past 18 years. Among the team members were Dilip Agrawal, Kamal Agrawal, Ajay Agrawal, Rajesh Agrawal, Vinod Garg, Sudha Agrawal, Sulekha Agrawal, Simple Agrawal, Rupa Agrawal, Manoj Agrawal and others.
